ATTENTION!!! I just found out about a family w/ 9 children (ages: 13, 11, 10, 9-twins, 7, 6, 5, & 22 months) who lost their home & EVERYTHING in it to a fire over Christmas break. The Red Cross is providing shelter for them, but only for the first 5 days. I will be gathering basic necessity items to send them (they are out of state). But if you could please pray for them & contact me if you have it on your heart to help them in any way that you can, it would be MUCH appreciated!!!

We (Miss Raquel and Family) personally know a friend of this family who is helping them. Just in case somebody thinks this is a hoax. :P My family and I are putting together some things to send them...and even if you can't afford shipping costs, please consider sending gift cards to Walmart, grocery stores, etc.

Pressing On

Please be praying for the Word of Life Bible Institute. We left for winter break late November and head back on Monday. While over break we lost a student to a car crash, a faculty member suffered a stroke, and it just seems like things that could go wrong in students lives were. Please just pray that when we get back together we can be there for eachother as well as keep our focus on God.

Isaiah Is Home - Thank you for praying!

Dear friends,

Isaiah is going home today (in fact I think he is home by now) They moved him straight from the ICU to home. That's fantastic news. :) :) :) Poor little guy was so uncomfortable the doctors were really at a loss. His tummy was swelling and he was crying, would sleep for more then 15min, wouldn't eat, wouldn't smile, and was just plain unhappy and uncomfortable. Then a smart, thinking, level headed, absolutely brilliant doctor took a look at his medication and suggested that the morphine might be a little to strong for such a little bloke, so they took him off it. He started smiling, playing with toys, stopped crying, and even giggling almost immediately after his last dose wore off. He's just on Tylonal now, and so is doing a lot better. :) :) YAY. :) :) :) He's even eating. He's "talking" and making sounds and stuff, which is just like he use to be before the surgery. Auntie says he's eating better then he ever has, is gaining weight (Finally!) and is acting more like a normal baby. He's less whiny and unhappy all the time. (he use to always be displeased) and so everything is wonderful now! YAYAYAY!

Isaiah Update...

12/28 Update:
Well we just got back from the hospital. He's doing very well. I'm so happy! Poor little thing. I was the last one in to go and see him. Poor baby. He was sleeping when I got in. He was hooked up to everything, but the only thing that seemed to bother him was when they did the blood pressure thingy. He didn't particularly care for that part. I put my hand on his head and pet his cheek. He seemed to like it cause when I took my hand away he started whimpering. The whimpering was less when I put my hand back on, but he kept at it for a while. Poor little guy. He looked like he was hurting. :( :( Then I gave him a kiss and he smiled, so I felt better for him. I gave him another kiss and he smiled bigger. Then I noticed that the oxygen mask was pushing on his eyes and nose kinda hard, and not covering his chin, so I adjusted it and he seemed a lot happier. It was pressing on his eyes, and I could see how that would be very uncomfortable. Then the nurse played some music for him and he calmed down a lot. After turning down the lights for him he just feel right asleep. Little angel. :)

He had the best surgeon too. Big black guy with a really calm, soft, deep voice. He looked like a great big teddy bear! :) He smiled too. :)

Thank you for your prayers. Isaiah will be in hospital for 3-5 days, so please continue to pray for him as he recovers. I'll send updates if anything changes, but he's doing just fine for now. Thank you all so much. :)

We're here now. I'm using the hospital computer. I will post updates
every once and a while. We're updated every two minutes on what times
everything is happening with a big sceen here, and it's very calming.
Auntie seems to be one of the least nervous. Everything seems to be
going well. He was aparently angry for a bit because he wasn't being
fed, but then calmed down when uncle (his daddy) held him. They had to
draw blood again, which he didn't like, but it was over quickly and he
soon stopped crying. They took him into the surgery room at 1:10. It's
2:07 now, and he's still in there. Thank you all so much for praying
with me at 2:00. We all did, and there's a woman here from Auntie's
church who came to support them too. It's very encouraging. Grandma is
staying calm, and it's a very calm envirnment with cool colors used in
decoration, with some warm colors to brighten it up. It's all very
calm. No one is crying, and it's all good.

IMEDIATE UPDATE: Isaiah JUST started the actual surgery. They were
just doing pre stuff before. It's 2:08. Please continue to pray. Thank

Prayers for Isaiah during Heart Surgery

Please be praying for us really hard today. My cousin Isaiah, who is only 8mo old is having heart surgery. It's a small surgery, but they're opening up the chest, which makes it more of a process...My Aunt and I (it's her son), and my mom, believe that God ordains all things and that He works them out for good, so we're trusting Him through this, but grandma (who is a worrier by nature) is VERY worried about this whole thing. Calling it things like "terrible" and such. I'm not sure she's going to be helpful at the hospital, I'm afraid she might be the one who needs the comforting. She's not a Christian. Please pray that everything will go well!

At 2:00pm (Wisconsin Time) I will be praying for my cousin, who will be 1/2 hour into surgery. Please pray with me at that time as we lift him in prayer. Thanks. I know God always answers prayers, even if it's not in the way we expect.

Dear family in Christ,

The reason I am writing is to ask for your prayers.

My father was involved in a vehicle accident at around midnight on Friday. We just got through talking to him a few hours ago, he's at the hospital.

Here's what I understood: They were training last night, and he was riding in the turret of a Hummer-like vehicle. Dad got flung out of the turret in the accident. Well, we're just thankful that he's alive. He's at a very good hospital (3 hrs from where he was working) and his best friend (who is also his boss on this job) has been checking on him. We're thankful. The doctor says the lining (?) of his spleen was removed in the accident, so there was some internal bleeding, but now the bleeding has stopped - it would have been fatal if the spleen had broken. He's banged up quite a bit, he didn't get out of ICU until a few hours ago. God is so merciful, and we are thankful that HE is sovereign over everything that happens, may His name be praised - regardless of the circumstances. Dad was excited to share that he was able to walk some around the hospital with his friend and the aid of a nurse. (He was worried that his legs were in worse shape.)

That's all the news we have for today. Tomorrow we'll find out more.

Well, here I am with my daily update on dad. :) We're joyful to report that he's feeling much better today. He says the hospital and staff is really nice - and the food is excellent. :) He told us (and the doctor) he felt ready to go back to work, but the doctor wants him to wait till tomorrow. He said MAYBE he'll be well enough to be released tomorrow. We're just waiting to hear from the doctor if he's well enough to travel - if he's not, my grandmother (dad's mom) will take care of him. She lives in Arizona, and will be more than happy to care for him. My father's boss is his best friend and a believer, Mr. B has been checking on him quite often and helping dad to walk around the hospital. We have great peace in knowing that God has Mr. B there.

We're just amazed every time we think of how bad the accident was and that he doesn't have one broken bone. His spleen seems to be the worst thing that got damage (which is serious), the doctor says he needs to be careful. Dad is on a lot pain meds, he does sound better today. He was happy to hear that y'all are remembering him and lifting him up in prayer. He is grateful, we all are.

Tomorrow, we'll hear what the doctor has to say and send out another update.

My cousin Domenic broke his hand a few days ago. He's a highly favored Varsity football lineman in his school, so it's a toll on the team as well as him. He's more concerned about that actually. He broke the same hand (his right) last year, only on his thumb, instead of his ringer finger bone (on the back of his hand) like this time. He's taking it well, but he still wants to play (with a very padded cast of course) but it's a little unnerving for all of us. :) last time surgery was talked of, and, though it's not this time, we're not looking forward to another long healing proses...all while he tries to play football. :/ He's on enough medicine that he's not really feeling any pain, but it annoys him that he can't do anything. He's a Christian so that helps. Please pray for a quick healing and no more injuries while he plays. Also please pray that the coaches wouldn't "protect" him, as in keeping him on the bench most of the time. He's one of the best players on the team and I know he would be more hurt by that than he is from actually breaking his hand.

Last Monday, she passed away to be with Jesus, after a few short months of breast cancer.

She was a homeschool momma of three beautiful daughter ages 10, 5, and 3. The little three year old's birthday was the same Monday her Momma went to heaven. This family really needs prayer, but as the little 3 year old said when she saw her mommy for the first time at the funeral home, "Look! Mommy's in the treasure box!" Indeed she is, Mrs. White was truly a wonderful mother and devoted wife, she'll be sadly missed.

Wrong Decisions

Great Ministry Opportunity!

 Our mom has been having vestibular and health issues since 
the beginning of last September. 
On the days of August 1-5, she will be at Mayo Clinic in Rochester,
 Minnesota, where hopefully we’ll get some answers.         

 We’ll be staying with our grandparents for the week,
 so we won’t be able to help keep her spirits up
and support her as she goes through this.

 To remedy us not being there, my grandma had this great idea. 
We would like our mom to have encouragement and support cards 
to open when she is at Mayo Clinic.

Update on Matthew...Continue Praying!

Hello again,
Alittle while ago, I sent in a prayer request for my brother Matthew, who was struggling with my Grandpa's recent passing. Things have gone from bad to worse in my brother's life. He has always been a very stubborn, headstrong, rebellious child. He cannot get a grip on his temper and it is influencing the rest of our family. Little ones are looking to him as an example for how to react when things go wrong (yelling, hitting, storming around). My parents have tried for years to help him with his temper, to no avail. Satan has such a grip on my brother and recent circumstances (my grandpa's death being just one of them) have made everything so much worse. I love my brother so much and this hurts to see him struggle against himself...especially since he views US as the "villains", and himself the "martyr". Please keep praying for him, and that my parents will have wisdom in how to deal with him. Our life is insecure for all of us right now, with money being very tight and my youngest brother having a terminal illness...and instead of drawing TO the LORD, Matthew is running.

I would like to praise the Lord for what He has been doing in my life recently!

The Lord recently allowed me to be able to take my first mission trip. I went with a team from my church, and the blessings were beyond description. The Lord worked in my own heart on some issues of attitude and judgementalism (if that's a word ;) ), surrendering less-than-perfectly-handled situations to Him, and trust. We on the team were able to bless and encourage the believers we met there, hopefully we influenced others to open their hearts to the Lord, and for our own part, we received tremendous blessings ourselves!

The Lord has also used a situation in my life (and the life of someone else) to teach me, encourage me, and grow me more in my reliance on, and submission to, His perfect Will and timing.

My Sunday School teacher and his wife have been married for 9 years. Though they wanted children desperately, the Lord had withheld that blessing from them. They have had two miscarriages, which were extremely hard.

My family has known them now for two years - since we came to this church. For about the last year and a half of that time, I have been heavily burdened with a desire to see the Lord to bless them with children. It probably sounds rather strange, but I do not believe I have ever wanted anything so badly in my life - I know I have never desired anything for myself so strongly.

This dear Godly couple has been such a blessing in my life, and I desperately prayed for God to give them this gift that they so desire. Does the Lord not tell us to ask for His good gifts?! Does His Word not tell us that children are one of His most special blessings?! Why would He withhold it?

The Lord has used this situation to test and grow my patience. To enforce the lesson that HIS Will is indeed perfect. That, though He understands our confusion, hurt, and questioning, we still have no right to accuse Him for what we think isn't "fair". He ALWAYS has a reason for doing or not doing what He does - even if He never tells us what it is.

Earlier this year, I started praying that the Lord would allow them to be expecting a child by the lady’s birthday, which was May 1st. Long story short(er), that day came, and went - nothing. I felt like the ground had been cut away beneath my feet – all the hope I had been standing on vanished in a moment, and I was plunging downward. The Lord led me through a deeply difficult, but thorough and honest, self-evaluation. He had not answered like I had hoped and expected – what was I going to do with the situation? It was an almost physical pain I felt for these dear people and their sweet patience, sad hope, and empty arms. But I could trust Him - keep hoping in spite of hopelessness, and remain persistent and unshaken in my prayers - or let my faith be shattered, which was not an option. He used this time of dark, intense disappointment, this journey through a dim, hazy, personal tunnel, to test my own trust in Him – my Faith in His all-wise Goodness. And though the tunnel was still dim and sorrowful, His hand was there all the time, and His arms around me only tightened the more I cried to Him. I believe He made me stronger in Him through this ‘crisis’, than I could have become, possibly any other way. He took probably the strongest, dearest desire of my heart, and asked me to give it to Him, not looking to get it back. He gave me the courage to let it go. When I did, the pain was tremendous, but the trust was complete. It was all His now.

The evening we got back from the mission trip, my Mom told me and my sister (who had also gone on the mission trip) that Sunday while we were gone, it had been announced that this dear couple was expecting a baby, due December 10. They had wanted to wait until the time passed that their previous miscarriages had happened, to announce it. But they would have known by her birthday – May 1st. In a moment, the Lord had uncovered the end of the tunnel, and I was blinded by the brightness of the dazzling light I stood in. I was blown away.

So many more little details that, for sake of not being any more long winded, I will not relate here. But so many ways that the Lord did exceeding above all I asked or thought, and for the past couple of weeks, I have been continually overwhelmed by the Kindness and Graciousness of the Lord!

I apologize for taking up so much time. But I wanted to relate this story to hopefully encourage anyone who has been in a similar situation, and to ‘declare His works with rejoicing’. Perhaps it sounds strange, to be in so much anguish for someone else. But all I know is that, the Lord worked in great ways in my life through this situation, and I can only imagine what He has done in the hearts and lives of this dear couple themselves.
The Lord will not always give us what we ask for, but our business is just to ask, seek, knock, and trust Him with the rest.

All the glory is His.

“Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing.” Ps. 107:21

Bill Fowler Update

Bill is home and doing well now. It turned out not to be serious (don't know all the details) and he's fine now. :)

Yesterday we got news that Ken Abner's (Mr. Abner functions as our Deacon/Hospitality person) Dad has cancer. They found it on his finger this past week. Grace's Surgery

Hi Friends,

Tonight I have a prayer request for my sister Grace. First thing in the morning (6/27), she is having two procedure's done on her mouth...I can't remember specifically what the surgery is called, but the more important thing is that with her special needs, this is a huge trial for her.

Bill Fowler

They took Bill to the hospital again last week due to some complications with the kidney transplant. He's not in any immediate danger, but he's very tired. Mom still needs prayers that her platelets will increase and that her kidneys will function properly. Yesterday, she was a little responsive. She answered yes and no questions by shaking her head and when dad asked if she wanted to see us, she even opened her eyes. The doctor said something to the effect that these next 24 hours are critical for her, though...

Emily's Mom is in the Hospital - Pray for their Family

Please be praying for my mom and the rest of our family...

Mom had chemo last Monday and on Thursday, she woke up with a terrible sore throat. She had a reaction to the chemo and it's called chemo mucositis. She wasn’t able to eat or drink for a few days because of it so she got really dehydrated.

My dad took her to the ER Saturday morning and they said that she was dehydrated and she has pneumonia. She hasn't eaten since Thursday because it hurts to eat, so she is really weak. She has been eating ice, but that is definitely not enough. The goal for the week is to help her throat to feel better, so she can talk without hurting, get her pneumonia under control, and to get her to eat food again.

Under the circumstances she is doing well but it's hard to see her like this. They did put her on oxygen yesterday because her throat is extremely swollen, so her breathing levels were up and down. When we left the hospital last night, she was doing better than when Katie got there earlier, but she said it was pretty scary earlier. I had something to do all day to keep my mind of everything, so I'm glad I wasn't there at that time. We have already had quite a few breakdowns. We have never seen her like this before and it’s really scary. I know that God is in control of everything that happens, but it’s hard to trust that everything is going to be alright when it feels like everything is falling apart.

That's about it for now. Her main doctor comes back today (he has been on vacation), so we will find out more.

Update: Car Accident

Just wanted to send an update about the family that we posted about here. I got to see the older son last night and he looks so so good!! He is healing well and his face looks incredible for what he has been through. The therapists are really impressed with his progress and he says that the prayers have really helped. God is in this! We all kept hugging him... there were tears of thankfulness.

Thank you all for your continued prayers for their healing as they adjust to life without the others. I can't imagine what they're going through but I know the peace of the Lord can do things bigger than what we could ever humanly imagine. We had a bunch of rubber bracelets made with their names and God has opened a lot of doors to share the gospel through this. I am so thankful how much they loved and followed the Lord. We don't understand but we trust. They are trusting and leaning on faith and God is holding them in the palm of His Hand.

Can't wait for you guys to meet them in heaven.

Praising God for Bill Fowler's Healing!!

Yesterday our church got a wonderful surprise. Pastor had just told us that Bill Fowler had returned home after a successful surgery, and we should be praying for them. Two minutes later in walked Bill and Denise. They all got claps and cheers. Bill looked really really good too. He was walking with a cane, but he was aware and alert and happy and not so tired. :) Here's the cover of what all's happened.

9 weeks ago the doctors told Denise Fowler (Bill's wife) to call the children, to say their farewells.
Three weeks ago They found a liver match for him. The nurse said she has rarely seen someone get a transplant that late, but Denise knew why. Several weeks before Bill's brother had died. He was several years younger and wasn't a Christian. Bill and Denise didn't know why he went, but he did. Then Denise said as she was praying one night for Bill she heard God say He wouldn't be taking him away. That Bill would be healed. And God did heal him.
Yesterday Bill Fowler and Denise walked into church with smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts. They were welcomed with hugs and kisses and praising and cheering and clapping.

One of the most special things I've ever seen in my life happened that Sunday. Pastor had finished speaking and we were having communion and while the plates were being passed I looked up and over to Bill. He was looking at the thin wooden cross that's embedded in the wall behind the pulpit (just for clarity it's not a crucifix it's just a plain wooden cross) and there was this light in his eyes. He had on a soft smile and you could see he was thanking Jesus.

*This update is from Antoinette on her Grandma who is finishing her race here on earth. Please pray for Antoinette and her family who are living with their grandparents to care for them...it is especially difficult because they have a very close relationship, but as you will see from the prayer request below, they are trusting the LORD and have a very precious outlook on the situation* ~Prayer Team

Grandma is doing much better, but still very weak and know our days with her are few in number and cherish every moment we have with her. She has her good days and rough days, but over all she is in such good spirits and is such a trooper with all she has been through. What a blessing to know she will be in Paradise and will see her again one day. Now that we have officially moved in with our grandparents, life seems to be slowing down a little for at least a short time (knowing what lies ahead after grandma passes away) and take every moment to use for God’s glory and be as productive as we can! We still hope to move to the south someday in the future, but for now our place is here in a senior mobile home park with my grandparents caring for grandma. After that, only the Lord knows and we rest in His sovereign timing in everything. What an amazing God we serve that can use circumstances like these to teach us so much and instead of tearing us down or making us depressed, it is doing the opposite and growing us in our knowledge of the Savior, and all we can do is give Him the glory and thank Him for this unexpected, blessedly chaotic life we live! ~Antoinette

Prayer for family [tragic car accident]

Hey guys! I know this was spread around about the emergency prayer request a few weeks ago here (reposted below) of the family who lost three people in a car accident. Just an update that the older son is now home and on the way to recovery! Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they adjust to life without their daddy, little brother and youngest sister. They love the Lord and their faith is a tremendous testimony through this time. There are many opportunities where God is using this as a way to share the gospel with many hurting. Thank you all for your continued prayers for healing and comfort through this time.

[may 4 2011] Hey guys. My heart is breaking as I write this and there are many tears falling around this entire county.... some of our dear friends in 4-H were in a terrible accident tonight.... The dad did not make it. Neither did one of the sons... the son that my brother has spent so much time with over the years during county fair. The older son and little girl are in critical condition. The mom is also in fair condition. Please please please pray. We don't have all the details... They love the Lord and are Christians.   Please pass the word. They need all the prayer they can get.

UPDATE 9:45 PM: The older son is now in stable condition and the little girl remains in critical.

UPDATE 10:02 PM: The older son is currently being operated on and looks like he is going to make it.

UPDATE 10:19 PM: It looks like the older son is going to pull through.

UPDATE 11:00 PM: The little girl is still with us...

UPDATE same day 7:33 PM: The little girl is still in critical but stable condition. The older son's surgery went well - he wants to go home - but there will definitely be more days in the hospital as he has a lot of healing to do.

UPDATE 5-8-2011 afternoon: Jessa is now with Jesus... with her brother and daddy.... no more pain. forever with the Lord. We love you so much Jessa. This is not goodbye... we will see you again.

Bill Fowler Update

There is a little good news and more bad news on behalf of Mr. Fowler. The good news is: he was able to get up and walk around a little in his hospital. The bad news (1) is the hospital is the one in Rochester where he was moved due to the lack of resources for his proper care in the Rice Lake (his home) hospital. The other bad news is that he has the hiccups again. (he had them before and they went away, but now they're back) The hiccups aren't exactly painful for him, but they are exhausting. They still don't have a match (or otherwise) for his liver and kidney transplants. Also, it would be more of a risky operation to preform now, since he's so weak. Please continue to pray, especially for Mrs. Denise Fowler. She's working so hard, and his thoroughly exhausted herself, but she is trying not to show it. Please pray for them all. Thanks.

Mrs. B. is a wife, mother of 6, and grandmother of 7. She was diagnosed
with cancer a couple years ago, and went through natural treatment
resulting in being cancer-free for several months, but recently the
doctors discovered a tumor (that has grown into a little bigger than the
size of a football - since November) found in a place that was not in the
original area. The doctors have warned her to begin thinking ahead...but
in weeks and months, not years. My family and I have known Mrs. B. for
over fifteen years. She is a beautiful woman of God and she is at peace
about His will. She is in a lot of pain, so that is one thing to keep her
in your prayers for. Also, she has a doctor's appointment to go to today.
I will try to keep you all updated. Thank you for this prayer blog!!

There is a man in our church who's name is Bill Fowler (name not changed) who needs a kidney and liver transplant. He has needed one for a while now and there has not been any way to get a transplant. It's also hard to the family because in order for Mr. Fowler to live it means someone else has to die so he can get the organs he needs. that won't be easy for the family of the one who dies if it is the Lord's will that Mr. Fowler should get this transplant. We have been praying for this since last January and we still don't have any answers. If Mr. Fowler doesn't get these organs, he will die. :'( Mr. Fowler hasn't been able to even come to church for almost a year because he's so weak and tired that he can't go anywhere. He has at least two daughters and one son (there may be another son too, but I haven't met him) thanks for praying.

We have a friend at our church that was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. They have determined that it is in one breast and her lymph system... but not to the bone. She is married, the mother of 3 children and is a true follower of Jesus Christ. Please send out a request for the following: that the lessons the Lord has for each of us involved would be learned, that her marriage and family will be stronger as a result, that those they come in contact with will be inspired by their faith and strength and that the Lord will heal her through the efforts of her doctors (and miraculously). My friend Trey is about to have a CT scan for cancer, he is 16 and has cancer in his leg. A few minutes ago his mom posted this on facebook:

Well, the week is here. Mixed emotions...So far the tests still show that cancer is only in leg. Will have CT scan of chest tonight. Pray that it is till clear! Very important!!! Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. Trey's surgery will begin. He will have his leg amputated above the knee. Pray that this never returns and he adjusts well to his prosthetics.

Please pray for strength for him and his family. They are also receiving there new baby sister this week from China. It is a very emotional time for them all.

I wanted to request prayer for my Uncle, Roddy. He has an aggressive form of an advanced stage of kidney cancer. He's having surgery on Friday (tomorrow) at 7:30am to remove as much of it as possible, but the doctors have stated quite clearly that it will not cure him. He's 43 years old, and is an alcoholic, and heavy smoker, and he doesn't have a relationship with the Lord. The doctor has told him that he has to stop smoking (and that smoking is what caused the cancer in the first place), and seriously cut back - if not stop completely - his consumption of alcohol. My family and I are praying and believing that God will save him, whether he lives years or days. He has a wife (Penny) and a 14-year-old son (Justin), both of whom do not know the Lord. So please be praying that the Lord will work a miracle, and open his eyes (and the eyes of his family members) to how much he needs the Lord. Thank you so much!

Jessica is 17 weeks pregnant with my little nephew, Gabriel Zachary! Here's where the prayers are desperately needed:

At her routine 12 week visit, the doctor found 2 hemorrhages inside of her womb. In the course of 5 weeks, one has passed but the other has grown. It now makes up 75% of the uterine lining.

It is attached to the placenta which is lying partially over her cervix. The placenta has torn away from the uterine wall.

The doctors say that every week she is pregnant is a miracle, and they are truly baffled when she returns pregnant.

Her specialist, who is also a Christian, said that it will be a miracle if she makes it to viability (24 weeks), and that there’s nothing he can do to help her get to that point.

Thankfully he knows that it is our miracle-working Savior who can remedy this whole situation for His glory. As of today's visit (September 9th), they just want Jessica to get to 22 weeks ( 4.5 more weeks) before putting her in the hospital for daily monitoring and steroid injections.

They don’t believe she'll be pregnant by Thanksgiving. Gabriel Zachary has grown on track thus far.

There will come a time when what’s left of the placenta won’t be enough to keep him growing...

for Mrs. Brandi P. Her husband was a truck driver who drove some sort of flammable materials. His truck caught fire and exploded sometime last week (I believe it was). His memorial was held last Wednesday. He leaves behind his wife (Brandi) and three children...one who is yet to be born. Mrs. P. *is* a believer - which is a wonderful comfort, but she is greatly suffering. Please keep the family in your prayers.

Hello fellow prayer warriors!!

I thought I had better put an update of my friends’ Uncle. He has come home after disappearing for several weeks. He does, however, still need heavy prayers as he is going through some pretty bad stuff right now. He really needs to find the Lord in his struggle because only the Lord can help him with his addictions-the addictions being the reason he disappeared.

Also, please pray for my family as we are seeking the Lord’s will in a serious matter. Please just pray that the Lord will show us which way we need to go, and that He will give us peace about the decisions we make.

Yesterday I "met" a new friend on blogger ~ her name is Emily and she was diagnosed not long ago with Leukemia. She will be turning 16 years old on Tuesday, the same day that she begins Chemo treatment.

Emily is a beautiful young lady who is leaning on Jesus to get her through this cancer journey...please keep her in your prayers and lift her up before our Sovereign God ~

Pray that the Lord will bless Emily with an abundance of strength to fight the cancer, peace through this journey, healing in her body, wisdom and clarity of mind for the Dr.'s and her parents and through all, that she will be a testimony to others of her faith and love for Jesus; no matter what the circumstances.

At 8:00pm (PDT) this evening our mother, Sono Sato Harris, went to be with her Savior. She went peacefully and painlessly. We all grieve, but we have hope. We rejoice with her — and we eagerly anticipate our reunion with her someday.
Fourth of July represents something even greater to us now, true freedom for our dearest mother — from a body wracked by cancer and life in a broken world.
Tonight, as fireworks lit up the sky, we like to think that they celebrated a life well-lived — and a recognition that it is not death to die, that we can still rejoice.

Hello Fellow Prayer Warriors!

I am seeking your prayers on behalf of some friends. Their Uncle has been missing ever since he didn’t show up for hi 39th birthday celebration a week ago. They haven’t heard anything from him at all. The family is very worried for him. He has a few addictions that have been hard for him to over come. He really just needs prayers that he will be brought back to the Lord on his knees.

Also, a little bit of an update for the Faith family. They had been having some medical issues, if anyone might have seen my request a while back. They are making some wonderful improvements, praise God. Thank you for all your prayers. They still have a long road ahead of them, but their Faith in God is simply amazing.

Pray for Aunt Judy

If you would, please keep my Aunt Judy and her family in your prayers. She was informed 2 weeks ago that she has small cell lung cancer that is spreading, and without treatment, she has about an 8% chance of living. She tried chemo, but the doctors said it wasn't working. So she recently told her family that she wasn't going to take any treatment whatsoever. But, something good has come out of all this, she came to know the Lord last week and wants to join the church where they've been going for a while.
