Urgent Prayer Request

This prayer request is from the organist at the church where parents of a member of Faith Family Baptist Church attend.  Please say a prayer for this toddler and his family.

Sara's Uncle, Roddy

I wanted to request prayer for my Uncle, Roddy. He has an aggressive form of an advanced stage of kidney cancer. He's having surgery on Friday (tomorrow) at 7:30am to remove as much of it as possible, but the doctors have stated quite clearly that it will not cure him. He's 43 years old, and is an alcoholic, and heavy smoker, and he doesn't have a relationship with the Lord. The doctor has told him that he has to stop smoking (and that smoking is what caused the cancer in the first place), and seriously cut back - if not stop completely - his consumption of alcohol. My family and I are praying and believing that God will save him, whether he lives years or days. He has a wife (Penny) and a 14-year-old son (Justin), both of whom do not know the Lord. So please be praying that the Lord will work a miracle, and open his eyes (and the eyes of his family members) to how much he needs the Lord. Thank you so much!
