Pray for Aunt Judy

If you would, please keep my Aunt Judy and her family in your prayers. She was informed 2 weeks ago that she has small cell lung cancer that is spreading, and without treatment, she has about an 8% chance of living. She tried chemo, but the doctors said it wasn't working. So she recently told her family that she wasn't going to take any treatment whatsoever. But, something good has come out of all this, she came to know the Lord last week and wants to join the church where they've been going for a while.

Correction

Dear Prayer Warriors,

I have a correction to make about the prayer request for Mrs. Harris. The doctors have *not* given her a timeline! I was misinformed by someone else (I won't say names), but that is incorrect.

Please continue to keep her in your prayers as she battles this Cancer - pray for her family as they are with her in this journey.

Chrissie has been healed

I just came from Lorraine's blog where she frequently updates on their dear adopted daughter, Chrissie, who has been in the hospital for 31 days... and who just went to Heaven this morning...
 
I praise the Lord that Chrissie is now healed and has absolutely no more suffering or pain but I also grieve for Chrissie's family who will miss her presence here on earth. Please keep their family in your prayers.

Oklahoma Tornado

There is a really dangerous tornado down somewhere in Oklahoma. Maybe you could pray for the folks there. Things like this don't generally last too horribly long but still the after damage that it could do.

PLEASE PRAY!

for Mrs. Sono Harris (wife to Gregg Harris and mother to 7 - including Joshua, Alex and Brett). She was diagnosed with colon cancer, but before it could be prevented/removed, it spread to many places, including her liver. The doctors only give her 2 weeks to about a month more, to live. Alex gave me permission to share this through Blogger and Facebook, so please pass this request along to all of YOUR friends. The family, as you can imagine, is suffering so much - along with her. Keep them in your prayers.

Pray for Sarah

Please pray for my dear friend Sarah...


My friend Sarah has been struggling with symptoms of the Creutzfeldt-Jakobs disease for 2 years now, though they can't know for sure that that is what she has (you can't know for sure until the patient dies, then you can do braind biopsy - and there is no known cure for it even if you could know for sure), she has all the right symptoms. The Creutzfeldt-Jakobs disease is a fatal brain disease that usually kills you anywhere from 7 months to 2 years.

Sarah has a doctors appointment this week, and she would truly appreciate you keeping her, her family and the doctor in your prayers. Sarah has meant so much to me in my life and she is a beautiful example to me. And she is such a wonderful friend! Though she has said that it can be very frustrating when her mustle tone goes down and she can't do anything, I have never heard her complain, and she is always in such a joyful mood! She's a member of our church (that's how I know her), but because of her illness has had to attend a different church for the past couple months, and she is so patient about it! So please, please pray for her - that she might have a peace in her heart 'that surpasses all understanding' and also, pray that the doctor might have wisdom.
