Baby Jethro

Jethro Dole is two weeks and six days old. He was born with a severe heart defect (Ebstien’s anomaly of the tricuspid valve) and pulmonary trisia. On top of all that, the Dole family's house partially burned down Wednesday morning. This family really needs our prayers and support.

Health Care Reform Bill...

You probably already know about the health care reform bill that President Obama is trying to push through. I'm not completely sure if they are voting on it today or sometime this week but I think it's an important thing to lift up in prayer.

God Bless,
Kelsey

~I often times am afraid to think of Obama...but as you're praying about this health care reform bill, and seeking out the LORD'S will, remember the Jesus Christ, our maker and redeemer, is in SOVERIGN control and though times are tough and may keep getting tougher, HE will carry us through:)

Keep praying!

Update on SaChay

I got to talk to the Birth Mother today. She was so nice and honest. But she does need your prayers, she has an addiction. So prayers are especially needed for the safety and health of the Baby. Her previous two children were boys and she said she had the same dependency while pregnant with them and they turned out just fine, so we are hoping for a healthy baby this pregnancy too. Nothing is impossible for God!

She said this pregnancy is completely different than the other two and so she is convinced she is having a girl. She said she would like to be a part of the baby's life and be able to visit and that she would like to pick its name. I told her that was completely fine with me, I wouldn't mind a bit! If it were to be a girl she already has a beautiful name picked out, Lindsay Rayne!

Nathan and Melodie Maxwell

First, and most importantly, Melanie is pregnant. That’s the good news! She’s 15 weeks along, and we’ve heard the baby’s heartbeat a couple times now. I feel like I should put something in right here along the lines of a reason for not posting sooner. I could blame busyness, work pressures/deadlines and the like … but instead I’ll just apologize for being late with this.

The challenging news is that we suspect she’s having complications again. She’s on bedrest, and we’re taking things day by day. Tonight in our family Bible time we read Ephesians 3 — we are desiring that He would do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think. What we’re seeing may turn out to be nothing, but based on Melanie’s history we’re concerned and watching.

We would be so grateful for your prayers.

Update on SaChay:)

This is an update and prayer request in one. We just got an offer today that we couldn't refuse. There is a lady that is currently pregnant and wanting to give up her baby when she has it. It is supposed to be a little boy. We, of course, would LOVE to have the baby. We are second in line, there was another couple wanting the baby, but haven't made up their minds completely yet.

Please pray that the baby is healthy. And that the financial part of the adoption won't be a burden and that the adoption itself will be smooth and easy.

We hope this is an answer to our prayers!
Thank you all for praying for us!

Layla Grace

Dear Praying Friends,
Yesterday I was introduced (via blogger) to a sweet little 2 1/2 year old girl named Layla Grace. She has "a massive cancerous tumor (Stage 4 Neuroblastoma) in her abdomen. It extends from above her left kidney, around her side, over her belly and wraps around her aorta. In addition, the cancer is in her bone marrow." The doctors have given her 2 more weeks to live.

Go visit her website at: http://www.laylagrace.org/ ~ they also update on Twitter and the link is on their website.

Please pray for COMFORT and STRENGTH while the Marsh family goes through this trial...little Layla Grace WILL be healed, though it may be in Heaven and not on earth.

In Christ,
Jenna
