One of the sons of some dear friends is a Marine. He is on 'Presidential Duty' which basically means he is one of the President's bodyguards. He served President Bush, and we just learned today through the family Christmas newsletter that he has stayed on and is serving President Obama as well. PLEASE PRAY that he will be able to have an influence on the President and his family! He plays basketball with the president, and the president's two little daughters think he's "cool" because he can do backflips on their trampoline (!) so he is in close contact with them. He is a fine Christian young man, Godly and dedicated, so please pray he will be wise and know how to use his words, time, and opportunities with them wisely! He will be transfering to North Carolina sometime in January, so the time is short. I have prayed many times for the salvation of the President, and I don't know why I hadn't thought of this friend being right there before! Now time is so short (well, at least the time he has there is) and it would be such a great thing if this dear friend would have the honor and blessing of leading this ungodly and infuential man to Christ! Thank you dear friends!

Lift up HOPE in your prayers
Hope's mom from Hope's Cancer Diary wrote that Hope got taken into hospital this morning with some kind of infection. They are not sure what it is exactly yet, but we're praying that she will be able to fight it off.
PLEASE my friends, lift Hope up in your prayers and ask the Lord to give her strength to fight off this infection.
Also, please drop by her blog to give her words of blessing and encouragement. Thanks!

Be in Prayer for Raquel's family...
My family is currently going through a very hard church situation. It's been since February, of this past spring, that we were unbiblically "excommunicated" from the home church that my family and I started. It's been a painful process and the person responsible for "excommunicating" us has been still causing heartache for my family. Please pray for all of us - but especially my parents. My Dad - as the guardian, leader and mentor of this family - for God to just give him wisdom in what He wants us to do. And for my Mother...she is due with our 7th baby next July and if she gets too upset or stressed about this situation, she can loose the baby. I would really appreciate it if you would keep all of us in your prayers. We trust God with what He has in store for us, and even though we can't see the big picture, we know He has a plan for our lives. Thank you so much! And may God bless you.

Pray for Hope
Dear Praying Friends,
I have recently met a 14 year old young lady named Hope, who was diagnosed with cancer in November. She had surgery to remove the mass that was found on her brain, and she is now going through Chemo Therapy and dealing with many horrible side affects. I ask you all to pray for her, that God would renew her strength, that He would touch her with His mighty hand and heal her from the cancer...
Please go to her blog at Hope's Cancer Diary, and let her know that you're praying for her, and share a few encouraging words or a bible verse.
Also, Hope's Dad died a year ago, so pray for her mom as well.
Please pray for this young lady and family.

Angela started having contractions yesterday and she gave birth to a premature boy. Our Lord decided to take him home very soon after he was born but his parents were able to hold him and he got to be baptized. Thank the Lord for the beautiful blessing of life and eternal life. Please pray for Angela and her husband and thank Jesus for holding their little baby now in heaven. Thank you so much all for praying so much, the Lord hears us and he loves us so so much, blessed be God forever!

Thank you all so much for praying!! Angela and her baby have made it to week 22 without a problem- one more week and the baby will be really likely to survive outside the womb. We still need to implore our Lord! He has been so merciful! Think especially how his beautiful virgin Mother carried Jesus in her own womb- especially during advent!!

I have a friend, her name is Angela, who is 21 weeks pregnant and her water broke on Thanksgiving evening. She went into the hospital and was sent home and put on full bed rest. There are no signs of labor yet, and we are hoping she can build up the amniotic fluid again and carry the little on to at least 23 weeks if not longer so that it has a chance to survive outside the womb. The chances are slim, but we are all optimistic and trust that God will work a miracle if it be in His holy will. Please pray!!!
